The Use Of Subversion And Inversion In The Bundy Ranch Case

Harry Reid just won't shut his big mouth. It is becoming more and more apparent that he is wanting a showdown at the Bundy Ranch, more so with every statement he makes about the issue. Of course we all know he is losing his bid to line his pockets with Chinese money, so much so that he has become incensed enough to ratchet up the rhetoric like a spoiled brat.

Take this article, for example.

Senator Dean Heller (R-NV) objected to Reid’s description of the events in Bunkersville, Nevada, last week at Bundy’s ranch. Heller told What’s Your Point? Hosts Jeff Gillan and Amy Tarkanian, “What Senator Reid may call domestic terrorists, I call patriots. We have a very different view on this.”
Reid responded, “These people think they’re patriots, and they’re not. If they’re patriots, we’re in big trouble.”

One can just as easily say that Harry Reid thinks he is a leader, and he's not. If he's a leader, then we are in big trouble.

Leaders don't threaten, like he has done.

Last week's standoff between Southern Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and the Bureau of Land Management "is not over," Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told a gathering of students, professors and political candidates Monday at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Reid, speaking at an event hosted by The Young Democrats, declined to go into detail about the controversy that has emerged from Bundy's long-standing refusal to pay federal grazing fees for his cattle. Reid also gave short answers on the subject before the students and faced questioning from a non-student who was highly critical.

"I have been very clear in saying this thing is not over, OK?" Reid said as he was walking out the door of the meeting room at the Mathewson-IGT Knowledge Center. "It's not over. You can't have someone violate the law. I have said that many times."

The fact is, he's not a leader, he's a boss.....much like a mafia boss....and mafia bosses are the same as terrorists. A leader leads, a boss dictates and orders people to do as he wants. When the boss speaks, his minions act accordingly. If they don't, he incites and orders retribution against anyone who fails to comply.

In this case, Reid wants to use that federal land to do with as he wants. So he uses his boss influence to force the rancher off the land that supposedly belongs to the people of the United States. He treats it as if it is HIS land to with, as HE pleases. It just didn't work the way he wanted and hence, the threatening tone.

But that's not the half of it. This whole episode has cast a shadow of irony over the entire thing. The irony in all of this is the way he uses the word terrorist to fit his own selfish interests. And this is not surprising, this has been a longstanding strategy of the current government.

Consistently, they have changed definitions to suit their own needs, as is illustrated in this meme:

So, here we are. Once again we are watching those who are supposed to be leading this nation, calling right wrong and wrong, right.

As a blog friend AOW pointed out in the comments of this post, this is called inversion. It's been going on for a long time, but it has really been accelerating since 2009, when Obama took office.

Without a fair and impartial media, they are beginning to see some success with these subversive tactics. This is strongly evidenced by the MSM's unwillingness to tell the truth about this kind of thing and ignore it completely, when it is used..

So as we (the people who have the ability to discern right from wrong and have some reasonable critical thinking skills) are processing this purposeful attempt to deceive, we can plainly see that the real terrorists are those who have the most guns and who are threatening to use them against the people they are supposed to be leading, and serving. And it all starts with inverting the meanings of words to cast a delusion in a truthful light.

Are they fooling you?

  1. Inverting and co-opting definitions is a subtle and effective tactic.

Conservatives seem blithely unable to stop this inversionism.

I keep doing all that I can to get the word out, but usually run up against walls -- that is, the inability of even conservatives to recognize what's going on.

    1. This is all we can do. We can only try to set the record straight. but we are up against a beast that is being fed and growing by the day.
